In 2016 Chadwell and I made a list of musicians we needed to see. Not just any musicians, and not even necessarily our favorites, but the ones we’d consider legends. Artists whose names your grandkids will recognize and think you’re cool because you got to see them live.
There’ll be a separate post detailing our list and how we’ve seen each of them, but in just a year we’ve managed to see almost all of them.
Huey Lewis
Surprisingly, the most elusive was Huey Lewis… so you can imagine how excited we were to hear that he’d be playing in our own hometown! Thanks LouFest!
Of course he was amazing, and we’re already plotting to see him again.
We also got to see one of our favorites, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and I got to relive a bit of high school with Weezer.
